Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader Album....

Well a few months back I was contacted by a Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader to make a gift for her Best Friend for her Wedding Shower. So I made up a Tin/Album set and sent that off to her! She loved it as did her friend! You can see it Here....
Anyways she also ordered an album to put pics of her DCC friends in through the season, so I ordered the paper to match the colors she wanted, the blue, white, silver and a hint of pink like on the DCC site. This was a hard album for me to make!!!! Not use to this color more into shabby chic or Vintage I would say! SO I hope that she likes it. I left it pretty plain as I wanted her to be able to personalize it herself and add the journaling and sentiments herself.
On to another album for sundays listing, will be a shabby chic type I think, pinks and greens...stay tuned!

Sundays Listing!!!

Here is the album that i have finished to list on Sunday! I think i must be on a vintage roll, last weeks albums was also vintage! But I had recieved this paper from a good friend in the mail last week and I decided i wanted to use it, as I LOVE IT! So I thought i would do an OUR STORY album. I did alot of stamping in this album and I added clear embossing powder to some of the stamped images to give them a little depth. I love this album and I think it will sell right away.

I used some of my aged tags . I am going to have to bake some more as I am really short on them .**** I make them by mixing up some instant coffee to a small amount of water and I add a few tsp of vanilla extract, sometimes i add cinnamon too! I dip the tags in the mixture and then I place them on a cookie sheet I have heating up in the oven at 500 degrees! I bake them until they dry out and then I turn them over and bake a while longer. ***
FUNNY STORY>>>>>I have a good friend in France who asked me how to make these tags a while back and I gave her these directions and she sent me an email the following day and said, "Renee' What the heck....I about burned down my kichen making these tags, what did I do wrong!?" ha ha...I have never had that trouble! She said the tags caught fire and then she opened the oven and they were ashes flying out! ha ha....oh horrible, yet funny! Id say dont bake them THAT long! ha

Special Gift

I made a tin and album a few weeks back alot like this set here, and I decided that I wanted to make this again for someone who is special to me. So I ordered in some more debbie mumm paper and got busy on it! So here it is ! I will be back and put on here more about it AFTER this person receives it!
Ok! Vicky received this gift, for her birthday which is friday! Happy Birthday Vicky!!! I am so glad that you like the tin and album and I hope that you can fill it all up and make good use of it. I have appreciated everything you have done for me over the years and you are a special "angel" in my life!! Your the best! This doesnt even come close to what I 'owe" you! God Bless you my dear!

Cards and an album!

Here are a few cards I was working on this week and an album I will be listing on Sunday. I am having so much fun making cards now that I am getting the hang of it! AND I have gotten some goodies in the mail from 2 special people these past weeks that have helped me along my way in Card making! So a special thanks to Melinda and Vicky !!! You have been so good to me, both of you!

The first card is a fall card I made, from some stamps I ordered from They were .99cents! I LOVE ACORNS i think they are totally adorable! So I had to make a fall card up for the fun of it!

The second card I made is a thankyou card from a stamped image that Melinda had sent me. I colored it with watercolor pencils and used my versa mark pen to blend it. Then i used the versa mark pen to heavily set up the centers of the flower for clear embossing powder, and heat set them. Then i added rainbow embossing powder to the flower petals them selves. I aged the edges and added coordinating papers. I think it turned out cute!

I also added this Seize the day card!! Another stamped image from Melinda that I colored and embossed. I added little paint to the tips of the pins just like in real life. I LOVE this card, it says alot and it turned out cute!

I am going to list this album to ebay on sunday. Its a vintage feel, on family, legacy and love. I hope that it will catch someones eye and they will give it a good home! ha It was fun doing this album, everything just seemed to fall into place on it!

Holly's Special Order.....

These Name Frames are for my friend Holly in France. She has been a good customer of my Name Frames....actually my only customer of my name frames! haha I made these Frames up for her 2 neices with the last names in the back ground and then i stamped their names on the vellum that went over the top of the last name. I added some old lace, i tea died, and put in thier Wedding dates at the top with little green flowers and the pearl dots. Holly wanted them in a cream and green color scheme. So that is what I did! I also made up another larger album for her in the same colors of the last album i did for her. She loved the colors so much she ordered 2 more today! Thanks Holly for your order and hope that you love your items!

2 New cards I have made!

Well I have a very nice friend, her name is Melinda, and you might recognize this name from the showing of special orders. She has been a super supporter of my work! Anywhoooo...she wanted to know if i would want some of her stamps to come and visit me! I said, "how about you just stamp some images on some paper and let me mess with them that way for now?" So she did!!!! So i have been having a fun time "coloring" and messing with my clear and rainbow embossing powder...i think im addicted and may border on embossing OVERKILL! haha but i dont care...I LIKE SHINEY!!! ha Both cards are colored with watercolor pencils and then blended with a versamark marker! LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!

So it was a rainy day and im still pretty much laid up with my broken tail bone and who knows what else as I fell down the basement stairs about a week ago! (got xrays on thursday and still am waiting for the tech and doc to read them and call me with the crazy is that!) So I thought i would doodle a bit more on cards and used the stamped images my dear friend Melinda sent me!

The first card I did I will be sending to my friend Holly in France...close your eyes Holly as to not ruin the suprise! I would like everyone to say a prayer for Holly as she is suffering from COPD and needs our prayers for healing and strength! So I wanted to send her a card to cheer her up before she heads to the border of France and Spain to a clinic where they will help her gain some strength! Luv you Holly, chin up and stay strong!

The second card I just doodled around and came up with and I LOVE IT! It was so fun to play around with no hurry or worry and just create! Its getting into fall and thought this was appropriate for the time !! Again, if you will notice....clear embossing powder...(special shout out to Althea, my banker and owner of a little scrap shop here in town, who introduce me to CLEAR embossing powder....thanks althea! ha)
I also finished up a special order for a customer in Canada and i forgot to take pics of it before i packaged it up to mail!!!! Silly me!!!!!
I am working on a suprise for one of my friends and I will start on Holly's order of 2 Name Frames and a larger album for her!
Hope your all having a great weekend, be back soon with more!
