zentangle like doodles...

At night before I go to bed I choose to do a bit of doodling. Here are a couple I have done this past week, it's so relaxing and fun, i will keep it up! I colored them with promarkers to add a bit of color and character.

LifeBook 2013 Week 18

I have skipped a few weeks of the 4 weeks I was behind on. They didnt suit my beliefs so I passed on doing those ones. It's good that you can pick and choose. I know at one point I felt in one of the online classes I took that I HAD to do ALL the work, which would end up causing me some anxiety. I then just came to the realization that this is about me. I can pick and choose what suits me and what feels right for my journey. So I chose to not do the Muse lesson. I will not set up an alter to speak to my "muse". Just not in my beliefs. So I passed. I chose to do this lesson, it was fun and relaxing, those are the kinds i like to stick with. And the ones that will make you think and do a bit of healing or self motivating. In this one you painted with your hands, and then added a picture, and wrote things about yourself, to give yourself that pep talk you need sometimes! I chose to be a little goofy with my picture...cuz that is just who i am! lol  But it was fun to doodle  and get things down on paper.

Another Journal Page....doodles.

My friend Melinda gave me a great book, God's Heart for You. By Holley Gerth. I have decided that I am going to use each subject word for a journal page! This one is  Wonderfully Made.  I saw how Elvie at Elvie Studio made these cute flowers...and I wanted to make some! So i gave them a go and this is what i came up with , with my subject and journaling!  How much fun. I only have 39 more to go!

I used promarkers, watercolor crayons and my scarlet lime doodle pen.

Another Journal Graduation Gift

I'm having such fun making these journals! I love to color the images...Saturated Canary has such beautiful digital images! I used my cuttlebug to cut out the shape around the image.  Prima flowers with clear dew drops in there centers. Watch Out World.......I hope she likes it!  Off to do another one!

New Composition Book Rehaul...into a Set Free Journal!

I took apart a composition book and covered it with pretty papers, punching holes in all the paper and attaching it with 3 rings. Adding burlap and yellow ribbon . Cute flowers and buttons highlight the Saturated Canary image "set free" . I colored it with Promarkers. Inside i divided it into sections with tabs, that say Hopes, prayers and dreams.
Check back in a few days hopefully, ill be working on another one or two for graduation gifts If I get some time from mudding and taping the bathroom.....we are remodeling!
