Seed Journal for a friend!
I made this Seed journal from the ground up, no kit no nothing...just plain creativity! I got the idea of a seed holder from Becca Freeken, a fabulous designer... you can see it HERE.
So this i MY version of the same idea. I used my favorite paper, Graphic 45 and a few others that matched. My main goal was that it would have lots of green as that is Melinda's favorite color! This will hold 8 seed packets and you can plan and keep track of all your gardening info at the same time!

Birthday Card
I spent the day at my friends scrapbook store, getting ready for our 'bag and a tag' class coming up next month. We worked on the layouts and got things all the way we want them and next step will be the cutting and preparing of the kits!! Should be fun. I did enjoy the time spent creating with someone other then myself! lol.
So I came home still feeling creative...ok i feel that way all the time and pretty much live in my craft room when ever i can get my 'duties' done you will find me in there! If i could find someone to cook and clean ,etc for me, i would just stay in there all day long. There never is enough time in a day to be in there! I have seriously thought of putting a day bed in there as well! LOL
This is the card i whipped up. While I was at Altheas she was showing me this snow glitter, you paint on and it dries fairly fast. Anyways i was excited about it and bought some and came home and made this card. I painted a bit on the ground and the snow flakes have each been dotted with some too. I colored the card with colored pencils and OMS added fuzz to her hat and boots and added a little bit of demention to her hate, scarf and pockets. I love these pure innocense stamp sets...so adorable! I will be mailing this off to my neice on monday...im a week late...but better late then never right???????

Addicted to Tags and Tag Albums!
I think i have found a new love........tags and tag albums! I love making them! Especially if they are vintage theme.
I did these 4 tag albums for a friend. She loves to garden and has freinds who love to garden as well. So made up these albums for use during the garden season! Handy little size of 4.5x6.
I machine sewed the front and back covers with 3 layers of paper..added name tabs for each. Aged each page. I stamped a journaling spot and accented each page with stamped images to coordinate with each album. Again aging all pages.
I will be working on another big order and will post that as soon as im done. I will also be doing a card/tag/bag class coming up some time in the near future and i will post pics of the projects and of the class.
So be sure to stop back!

Ok....i couldnt help myself!
I cut out a mess of tags and i just had to make another one! This time a journal tag book! I was inspired by graphic 45 paper...it is my absolute fav. Again its a 10 page album front and back. There are places for pictures and journaling and 4 smaller additional tags. On the back is a pocket with one more vintage tag! All pages are inked with vintage ink for aging....front and back covers are machine sewed. cute multiple style letters used to spell out journal on the front. I will be listing this soon on etsy, it will be a bit more then the recipe tag albums, as there are more things in it...so i will sell it for $15.99. Let me know if you are interested before i list it!! Thanks so much.

i was inspired by Jennifer McGuire, a very talented lady i follow in the blog world. She made some beautiful card with butterflies and i just had to make some for myself! Well ill probably send them to my mother in law as a gift!
Anyways here they are. I embossed the card itself, cut and added ribbon to a strip of patterned paper and added a colored butterfly and added some stickles....! simple!

A tag and an altered frame with vintage tag...
I made up this snowflake tag the other night, as you know i do love me some vintage stuff! So i had to do it vintage. I did a few different treatments, with embossing in a pink and clear , then inking it with colors to match the inspiration picture with taupes, rose, and teal. Adding some snow flakes and dew drops made it turn out pretty cute.
I was then inspired by my friend Melinda, who had gotten a cute framed set of tags for a holiday gift...with little sheep on them and words on them as well...i thought i would do my version of a framed tag and this is what i came up with. I found this old frame in our garage...it had my brother in laws picture in it....sorry tim! lol So i sanded it and then added some crackle medium and then painted over with some white paint! love the effect it came out with . Found some vintage looking papers and did up a tag with wings to put in side. I LOVE it and will be hanging it in my craft room. I used tim holtz stamps and a cute little girl and boy vintage type picture on the tag. the wings are stamped with a tim holtz stamp and i used vintage ink and clear embossing powder to give it a little more substance and debth!
Memories and Thoughts Tin
I have been working on this memories and thoughts tin...i found this cute round tin at the thrift store and got it for less then .50cents! I love this paper set, think its bo bunny. I thing it is so fun and just love how all the papers go together! I got a cuttlebug and some dies from nestibilities thanks to my hubby who gave me his holiday bonus from work!!!!! SO i HAD to try out the flower die and i added them to the tin, embossing them and adding ink to add some more demention. I had seen in Paper Craft Mag. that someone had made a card using a distressed piece of cardboard, so i had to try it out on this tin! I LOVE THE EFFECT! Adding ribbon and rafia gave it that fun whimsy charm that i like. I also made the chipboard album with the YOU MAKE ME SMILE on the front and covered it with matching papers and flowers. I found these little cute journal books and covered one to match and put them both inside the tin. There is still room for more treasures and pictures what ever you want to put inside. I am having a hard time deciding if i am going to sell this or keep it for myself! lol
If you have any special orders on cards, tins, or albums etc..be sure to contact me, i would LOVE to make them for you!!! Email me at ibredrenee@hotmail.com
You Warm My Heart Cards
I love the pure innocence stamps! So i had to get one! So i have been busy busy creating cards with the cute little thing! Having a load of fun. I thought i would share them with you!! I colored them with chalk! I took pieces of chalk, wet it with a brush and painted it on the card..adding some shading where needed. I then added stickles for a bit of sparkle and fun and aged some of the backgrounds with some vintage ink/water colored it on.
