D'arcy Diaries Card-Celebrate!

Hello everyone! Happy First Day of Summer! Lots going on here at my house, but i did take some time to get a card done for D'arcys! Had to do a bit of coloring! I have my oldest sons wedding on the 28th and my second son is coming back from his 20 days in Africa on the 22nd! I cannot wait!!!!!! I went ahead and got my other project done for next week since i KNOW i will be busy on thursday....!

I had to color in the dots behind this image...she just seemed so happy and this was the best weay i could show her joy! Celebrate! This is going to be ME on friday and again on thursday next!

Fairy Tale Friday....HOOO wants to see my project!

Today I am posting this new project i have made for a dear sweet friend. Her and I LOVE owls and when i saw the new images this week at Teddybo.com...i KNEW which one i would be using! (i also cant wait to try the other one too...check them out at Teddybo.com) I made up 6 note cards, with 3 different sentiments.  I then made a  little "pouch" to hold the cards in, and i thought it would be cute if it was a little next...so i cut out a circle , then cut out its center, and then went back in and cut around each with scissors to make it uneven like edges of a nest. I then took my promaker and started with the lightest color working little criss crosses all around and then worked my way up in the darker shades. I took my black gellyroll pen and drew around a few of the "twigs" and then highlighted some with my white gellyroll pen as well. Making sure to let a few "twigs" went onto the background of the pouch to make it look more realistic. I think it turned out great,  and asked my family if it looked like a next or a "hairy donut! LOL....they thought it looked like a nest....!phew.



The World Card....

Check out the new D'arcy Diaries Images!! I love this little angel and Gayle has done her up in a few ways over all the releases...and so i had to pick this one again and color her up. The sentiment that came to mind was "to the world you might be ONE person, but to one person you might be the WORLD". I so love that sentiment, it means alot to me, because i feel it every day and i hope that i live it as well...
