Thought I would get back to my art journal. In this journal I have mostly just girls and quotes. I dont think I have ever done a white haired girl before. So it was a change for me. Her hair really pops with the inks and paints I used for the background. The quote is really good advice for myself..."sometimes the best thing you can do is not think, not wonder, not imagine, not obsess. Just Breath, and have faith that everything will work out for the Best. " I added te journaling down her hair too "I need to let go and let God take control" I dont know how many times I have told myself this....Im so stubborn! Work in progress I am. Work in progress.
This Blog is to share my creative works with friends. I hope you stop by often to visit and give me your feedback!!

a little summer tag
I love the Julie Nutting stamps from prima. I have 2 so far. This one I paper pieced in the whole thing. That is so fun. I added some butterfly wings and some glitter pen to add some sparkle. I used spray inks on the tag itself and a little instant coffee to add some aging. Popped on some flowers and a quote added some lace and ribbon and have a cute tag! I have an idea where this one is going....!;)
A little painting......
Did a quick owl painting for a friend for "happy mail". I love owls...they are just so facinating. Last summer we had that came and sat in an old dead tree in our neighbors yard. I loved watching it and listening to it . The old dead tree is gone now....I wonder if he will come back and sit in another tree in the neighborhood. I sure hope so.

A couple art journal pages....
I havent posted in a little while so thought I would add a couple art journal pages I did a few months back. I find that like my big paintings I like to have inspiration from a quote or words to get me started on what im about to paint or draw. Or I just am in that mood of happy, sad etc...and need to get it out on paper/canvas . There is healing in art! Anyways hope you enjoy them.
