Stockin up!

I am stockin up on projects to list on Ebay come November! So this is one of the recipe albums i have made for listing!

There are 18 hand stamped and decorated recipe cards inside this album AND 4 pull out tags. I love this paper, I dont think that i DONT like ANY of the Graphic 45 papers! But yes this is Graphic 45 paper, so fun with the tea pots! I added some vintage stickers etc to make it look a but more "old". I really love the color combination and think that it turned out really cute!

I have more projects in the works, i hope to keep posting them on here as i get them done. If anyone is interested in any of the items let me know and i can sell them to you before i list

Tomorrow is my birthday, well actually its 12:05am...so offically it is my Birthday now! Anyways I recieved a wonderful box in the mail from a dear sweet friend and it was chocked full of goodies , stamps, paper, stickers, flowers, etc and i cannot wait to get busy with all of it to have some fun with the new stuff!! i had to ink up the stamps and stamp out a few of the images of each one...so might have to do a bit of coloring tomorrow before i continue on with my other projects! thanks melinda!;)

2 Tins to Go!

I have 2 tins to show today. Another Special order. I LOVE them! I had alot of fun putting them together. Especially the Fall Tin. I love fall the best of all the seasons and so i had a great time putting it together. Plus i love the colors in it! All colors i tend to wear! I think that the purchaser will love them as much as i do. I made each tin with a set of 3 notecards and envelopes, 4 divider cards for Photos, Mementoes, sketches, keepsakes. I also included in these tins 2 of the file folders i make with matching paper. So these tins come fully loaded! lol Shipping them off tomorrow! Will be back with more things i am working on , hopefully later in the week!

Fall Note Cards and Stylin Box!

SOLD!!

Fall is in the air that is for sure! Leaves are blowing off the trees here in Kansas, and the wind has turned cool. I love fall. I really love everything about it...the colors, the "smell" , the feel. So I received these stamped images from my sweet friend Melinda and i had to get busy with them! I decided i wanted to make up a set of cards with them. So i picked out the fall colors and paper and got busy coloring the images. I think that they turned out great! I like the little peek hole showing the leaf through. I embossed the leave to give it a bit of demention. The Tilda with sunflower I colored with colored pencils and OMS and some copic markers. I added fun flock to the sunflower center and to the dots on her dress to give it a bit of fun! I stamped matching cards with the leaves. . The box I covered with the matching leaf paper and coordinating ribbon. I added a cute little sunflower tag to give it a bit of cuteness and also if the buyer wants to give it as a gift its all set!

This Weekend was Homecoming Weekend here in St.Francis Kansas. My second son Luke and my youngest son Blaine attended the Homecoming dance tonight. I thought they looked rather handsome, so i had to share some pics with you. My favorite one is of Bailee sneaking in behind them and peeking in behind them. We went shopping at the thrift store down town and got them their suit jackets and dress shirts and blaines tie. Pretty good deals...paid like 12 bucks for all of it!!!

Dogs and Roosters!

I just finished with this order for my dear friend and customer Melinda! Thank you Melinda for keeping me busy! I love it!

I was asked to make up an album in the memory of her dog Jonah , whom she lost a few months back! So I had a hard time finding any dog paper that seemed to fit MY vision! So i just used Bazzill card stock in color combination with the stickers i had found. I also bought some cute stamps to go with. I think it turned out cute! I hope Melinda will love it.

She also wanted a kitchen tin for recipes and i had gotten this paper from A Cherry on Top, my favorite place to shop! And i HAD to use it. Melinda and I have Matching Roosters I made us a few months back, that i posted on this very blog. SO I thought it would be cute to make a matching rooster from wood. So i drew it up from one of the roosters in the paper and cute it out (it horrifies my hubby that i use power tools...im kinda a clutz so he lives in fear when he hears them start up! lol) But i got the rooster cut out and i still have ALL my fingers and got busy painting! I think it turned out pretty cute and i KNOW melinda will be very pleased with it! SURPRISE Melinda!!! (she didnt know i was making it!);)
