3 projects

I have a big posting to day with 3 projects that i have been working on. The first one is a special order for a sweet lady in NJ. This is a Wedding shower album for her daughter. It is done in cornflower blue/cream, to go with the wedding colors and has a beachy theme going on as well since they live by the Jersey Shore. I made it up with lots of lace and sparkle and pearls and sea shell brads.

The second project is another note card holder for a dear sweet friend how has done so much for me over the years. We have known each other for over 25 years, when she met and married my hubbys best friend. She has a heart of Gold and has been a good sweet dear friend every since. So i decided to make her this gift! The last project i did is a cute card with an image another dear sweet friend sent me the other day in the mail !! I decided to make up a card with it cuz its so darn cute! Thanks melinda!

Just a Note!

Well here is the project i was telling you about yesterday that i was working on! One is for a friend and one is for MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! I am going to keep one for me! I never keep anything or make anything just for me and so i thought it was high time i did that!

Anyways , I got this idea for this project HERE. Laurie is one of my favorite paper artists. Her project was so darn cute I decided to make one of my own . Not having a pattern I made it up to the best of my ability, in my own way. And this is how MY VERSION turned out. Thanks for lookin!

a fun day to just play!

Today i had a day to just play, ok, yesterday i did too..after finishing the last of the 12 file folder albums! Anywhooooo. I played around making a few cards and started a new project for a friend, just for the fun of it. I hope to finish it tomorrow and then i will show you when it is done. I am going to make one for my self too..I dont get to enjoy my own stuff very often, its always being made for others! So I will make me one to keep! yeah!!!

So back to the 2 cards i made today! I had a stamped image from my blog friend Wendalyn, you can visit her blog and her work here. Anyways the fuzzy cat with bunny slippers is from her. I used OMS along with my colored pencils to color him and added some stickles to give her slippers some sparkle! Inside it says pure bliss, because that is what I think she is thinking and i know my fuzzy slippers make me very happy! ha ha

The second card is from a set of penny black stamps, called garden friends, and has the chicks piled up on top of each other. Thought it was a cute spring card and added some stickles to the chick as well.

I hope to have my NEW project posted tomorrow. I will be starting a wedding shower album in the next few days, just waiting for my supplies to come in! Thanks for stopping by!

Magnolia cards

I was 'blessed' with these magnolia stamps from my sweet friend Melinda, and so i HAD to make some cards up! I mailed off 2 with out taking pics of them first....so i remembered to take pics of these and get them on the blog. They will be going on ebay on sunday. Unless someone contacts me and asks for them before i do that. They will go for $5. They are a little larger then the others i have made. I had to add some stickles to add a bit of sparkle! I made them 3d as well..Of course i used some of my favorite paper as well...love the colors in it! Thanks for stopping by.

Last 3 file folder albums for special order.

BIG sigh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ahhhhhhhhhhh! I am finally done with the 12 albums for the special order for Lisa in Utah! (thanks lisa!!) It was fun coming up with all the different ones, so i got to stretch my creativity! So i finished the last one tonight, and then i started working on a few cards, which is will put on the blog next.

Back to the albums. I think out of these 3 the U & Me is my favorite...just because its my favorite papers...! (yours too huh melinda!?)

So on to the next special order....!
