Another Journal Graduation Gift

I'm having such fun making these journals! I love to color the images...Saturated Canary has such beautiful digital images! I used my cuttlebug to cut out the shape around the image.  Prima flowers with clear dew drops in there centers. Watch Out World.......I hope she likes it!  Off to do another one!

I painted over with some gesso, leaving some stencil work ....journaled on the page then took a pretty sunflower napkin that I received from a friend and adheared it with some modpodge . Then painting in the leaf and stem with my gelato's , highlighting with a white paint marker. adding swirls and dots on the page around it. was fun and relaxing.

2 more bear drawings...not sure what he is holding in the bottom one....LOL In the book it is dirt...we'll go with that. I am just practicing on bears cuz this book was so cute...(see earlier post)

an artist i saw on pinterest did a girl like this and i loved how soft an lovely she was...mine, isnt as soft and lovely...maybe i dont do soft and lovel...think she kinda looks like nicki minaj ....

New Composition Book Rehaul...into a Set Free Journal!

I took apart a composition book and covered it with pretty papers, punching holes in all the paper and attaching it with 3 rings. Adding burlap and yellow ribbon . Cute flowers and buttons highlight the Saturated Canary image "set free" . I colored it with Promarkers. Inside i divided it into sections with tabs, that say Hopes, prayers and dreams.
Check back in a few days hopefully, ill be working on another one or two for graduation gifts If I get some time from mudding and taping the bathroom.....we are remodeling!

Quirky Birds Lifebook 2013 Lesson 14

This is my first attempt at quirky birds for lifebook lesson 14.  It is fun to mess around with different shapes and ideas for making up your own style of birds. I went along on this set more like Tamara taught . This was a Honoring and Grounding exercise. We put down words from a special song or poem that speaks to us. I chose Move Along by All american Rejects.
I decided to do another attempt at it and be more myself with the birds. So this second one is that ..and i love it more! It was more relaxing and felt no pressure!
So much fun, have a go at it and see what you come up with!
