First Tooth........

Miss B (Bailee Rose, miss beans) Has offically lost her first tooth! It was tramatic...so i let dad handle it! ha I am not good with blood and such! I let him do all the boys tooth pulling...so when her tooth started bleeding tonight....my course of action...get a wet wash cloth and cover it up! haha Then send her over to her dad! So her dad, and brother luke...took on the task and with a little string...and a few misses and blood curdling screams....the tooth finally came out. It really didnt hurt she just screams for dramatic effect! ha So now tooth fairy has to come...and she usually writes a funny poem...and leaves a bit of $$. We will see if tooth fairy can get a poem worked up. Just thought i would share! Bailee Rose will be 6 on the 31st of this month....she is growing up to fast!

Sisters Album Special Order

Well....Its DONE!!! It took me awhile to find the paper that i had in my "head" and searching through 5000 sheets of paper on a cherry on top...but i finally found them and made this special order Sisters Album!!! Teena wanted it to have pink and lime green and auqa for a color scheme.

The girls like flowers and butterflies and dragonflies...so I had some fun with it!!! I used some sparkley vellum and stamped the flowers and bugs on them then i sprinkled them with sparkley embossing powder and on some i hurried and sprinkled clear embossing powder on it while it was still hot...and heated it again. This makes a thicker coat and I think would make the vellum more sturdy. I had so much fun "experimenting" with it all and I think that the album turned out adorable! So pretty and girly! Might have to make one for my daughter, she loves the butterflies and dragonflies as well! I will be mailing this off to Teena tomorrow (tuesday)! Thanks Teena for allowing me to make it for you! I SO enjoyed it!

Price Change!

I have come to the conclusion that i will be raising my prices on my albums, to help cover the costs it takes me to get things in , all things i use are ordered in, and to cover the time i put into each album Especially the special orders.
So starting right away the new pricing for albums will be I will be adding 3-4 dollars for now to the price of each album. Most of my recipe albums were going for $32-$35 so those will go up 3-4 dollars. Regular albums were listing $35-$37 so again they will go up 3-4 dollars.
As for Special orders, those are what really cost me..so for now they will go up $5..so instead of $35.99 they will be $40.99 and up depending. Tins will be $35 alone...and tin/combos will go for $69.99 and up. Depending wht is all in it...if its an address tin..it will cost more.
I have been told by several people that i dont charge enough for my albums/tins etc. And I let it go for awhile thinking isnt that nice..but then after all is said and done...i realize that I put alot of time into my albums and alot of time searching out just the right paper for each special orders, ( i search through 5000 sheets of paper on my favorite site each time i have a special order.....) I think it is time i do raise my prices to cover my time and costs.
I am making these albums and tins etc..not only for my sanity, as i really love making them , but also for extra money to help get us by. We are a one income family of 6 and every little bit helps!

I have made this pretty recipe album today for sundays listing on ebay! I love this paper..i love this company actually...Graphic 45...i love alot of their papers! Remember the cherry paper that i made the tin/album with a few weeks back? That is Graphic 45 paper as well!! LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!! There are 24 recipe cards and all are hand stamped!

out of order!!!!!!!!

Ok the 4th album posting is below the complaining about not being able to post it and that it would be posted later.....well it looks like ive gone and lost my mind cuz there it is in the spot it would of been in had i not had trouble with the pictures!!!!! I saved it on my posts...so when i did get the pictures up loaded it posted before the last posting! ...so no i didnt lose my mind...YET!

Internal Error.....

I was going to post the 4th album from the special order of 4 on here but keep getting a internal error when i try to upload the pictures......so will try again later tonight and see if it is feeling up to "releasing" my photos then! ha Sometimes you just want to throw the dang lap top!!! Especially when your in a big hurry and things just dont go as you plan them! hmmmm You pray for patience and you think God will just hand you a little package labled "patience" but instead you find all the opportunities to GAIN patience....! How clever! This is one of those opportunities i guess! lol.

Will be starting on my other special order, this should be fun, a sisters album, im excited about it as i love the paper I found. I spend HOURS and HOURS on the web, mostly ACherryontop to find my papers...i usually search through all 5000 pieces for just the right paper...(theres some patience for you!!!) Since i have no store around to buy paper i have to do all my shopping online..and sometimes that is hard! Especially when you look for certain colors! YIKES>

So sent off the 4 albums today that i just finished, and now will start the sisters, and I also gained another special order as well! So that is good! Will be back later i hope with the pics from the last album!
