Cards and an album!

Here are a few cards I was working on this week and an album I will be listing on Sunday. I am having so much fun making cards now that I am getting the hang of it! AND I have gotten some goodies in the mail from 2 special people these past weeks that have helped me along my way in Card making! So a special thanks to Melinda and Vicky !!! You have been so good to me, both of you!

The first card is a fall card I made, from some stamps I ordered from bargainpack.com. They were .99cents! I LOVE ACORNS i think they are totally adorable! So I had to make a fall card up for the fun of it!

The second card I made is a thankyou card from a stamped image that Melinda had sent me. I colored it with watercolor pencils and used my versa mark pen to blend it. Then i used the versa mark pen to heavily set up the centers of the flower for clear embossing powder, and heat set them. Then i added rainbow embossing powder to the flower petals them selves. I aged the edges and added coordinating papers. I think it turned out cute!

I also added this Seize the day card!! Another stamped image from Melinda that I colored and embossed. I added little paint to the tips of the pins just like in real life. I LOVE this card, it says alot and it turned out cute!

I am going to list this album to ebay on sunday. Its a vintage feel, on family, legacy and love. I hope that it will catch someones eye and they will give it a good home! ha It was fun doing this album, everything just seemed to fall into place on it!

Holly's Special Order.....

These Name Frames are for my friend Holly in France. She has been a good customer of my Name Frames....actually my only customer of my name frames! haha I made these Frames up for her 2 neices with the last names in the back ground and then i stamped their names on the vellum that went over the top of the last name. I added some old lace, i tea died, and put in thier Wedding dates at the top with little green flowers and the pearl dots. Holly wanted them in a cream and green color scheme. So that is what I did! I also made up another larger album for her in the same colors of the last album i did for her. She loved the colors so much she ordered 2 more today! Thanks Holly for your order and hope that you love your items!

2 New cards I have made!

Well I have a very nice friend, her name is Melinda, and you might recognize this name from the showing of special orders. She has been a super supporter of my work! Anywhoooo...she wanted to know if i would want some of her stamps to come and visit me! I said, "how about you just stamp some images on some paper and let me mess with them that way for now?" So she did!!!! So i have been having a fun time "coloring" and messing with my clear and rainbow embossing powder...i think im addicted and may border on embossing OVERKILL! haha but i dont care...I LIKE SHINEY!!! ha Both cards are colored with watercolor pencils and then blended with a versamark marker! LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!



So it was a rainy day and im still pretty much laid up with my broken tail bone and who knows what else as I fell down the basement stairs about a week ago! (got xrays on thursday and still am waiting for the tech and doc to read them and call me with the results....how crazy is that!) So I thought i would doodle a bit more on cards and used the stamped images my dear friend Melinda sent me!



The first card I did I will be sending to my friend Holly in France...close your eyes Holly as to not ruin the suprise! I would like everyone to say a prayer for Holly as she is suffering from COPD and needs our prayers for healing and strength! So I wanted to send her a card to cheer her up before she heads to the border of France and Spain to a clinic where they will help her gain some strength! Luv you Holly, chin up and stay strong!


The second card I just doodled around and came up with and I LOVE IT! It was so fun to play around with no hurry or worry and just create! Its getting into fall and thought this was appropriate for the time !! Again, if you will notice....clear embossing powder...(special shout out to Althea, my banker and owner of a little scrap shop here in town, who introduce me to CLEAR embossing powder....thanks althea! ha)
I also finished up a special order for a customer in Canada and i forgot to take pics of it before i packaged it up to mail!!!! Silly me!!!!!
I am working on a suprise for one of my friends and I will start on Holly's order of 2 Name Frames and a larger album for her!

Melinda's special Order!!

Mom's Diner Recipe Album/Sunday Listing

I am going to be listing this recipe album for Sundays listing! I love this paper, when ever possible I buy more for my stash! Its just so fun.

I am busy busy busy working on orders but I just had to have something to list on Sunday! I still have my tin/album set still up for auction on ebay, if it doesnt sell tomorrow will probably relist it and hope for the best!

Messin with my new stamps!

I received my new set of stamps from My Favorite Things, Boho stamps, and I just HAD to use them! Since im fairly new to making cards, I am slowly getting the hang of it but there are alot of tricks i need to learn! Anyways, the top card I made for my half brother and his wife for their anniversary. It will be late...does it count that i made it ON their anniversary!? ha.

The second card down was another version of the just because card i made last week, with the melissa Frances paper, and aged tag. I embossed the bee on the aged tag after i stamped the cream flourishes and then I stamped little pink flowers on the flourishes for added color. I will be sending that card to a dear customer and new friend, Melinda. She has been so good to me with all her orders! I just want to say thank you!

The third card i made just for the fun of it to try out the flower stamp, and love the paper in the back ground. I added micro glitter to flower for a little sparkle!

When i get caught up on my orders i will again work on some more cards! I want to get good at it! ha Thanks for looking!

Second half of order for France!

Here is the Disney layout I made for Viola. I hope that it works for her and her pictures! I love the red flower dot paper, And the striped paper as an accent. I also love black and white polka dot with red so used it as a base for the mats! 2 pull out tags on the top of page two, and two smaller tags on the first page. I think her little girl will love, it , my little girl Bailee Rose thought it was pretty nice!
