French Cards Done!!!!

Here are the French cards I made for my customer Viola! She wanted them in French! So I had to hand to the letters. I had to hand make and envelope for the Bonne Fetes Card (seasons greetings) As it was a bit thick. I also got to use my new stamp set for the Happy Birthday (female card). My stamp set from My Favorite Things, Boho Blossoms. I am excited to mess around with that set more! I also did a variation of the leaf card I made last week, since i loved it so much. Its for a male birthday. Think it works! Hope Viola love them and the 12x12s i have been working on for her as well!

Very Special , Special Order!

I want to post this very special, Special Order! This order is for a Father who is going to give these to his daughters. Their mother passed away earlier this year and she was a woman I would love to strive to be! She was a fantastic example of a Christian woman and I was truely blessed to of known her! So these albums are for her daughters as a tribute to their mom from their father! I enjoyed this order so very much. Thanks Barry for letting me do this!

All are done the same, just with different paper, and each has a different word theme on the front, Faith, Love, Hope and Believe.

12x12 FINISHED...another to go!

Here is one of the 12x12's I have gotten done for my order to France. I think it turned out pretty cute! The Santa is hand drawn and matches the santa's in the paper I used. I then paper pieced it to give it a 3d effect and I painted it with white tulip paint for the fur, giving it a rough texture, I used pearl like paint for the beard giving it a silky look! It was my first big project doing a paper pieced object! I hope she likes it! Now on to the Disney one and make her a few cards in "french" and her order will be complete! I will then move on to my next order!

Also if you have been reading along with my blog, I did not get on the design team this time, BUT i will not give up! I will keep practicing and keep trying!!

Special Order Second Part DONE!!!!

Ok, I am done with Melinda's special order part two! I had so much fun making this set, the paper is my absolute favorite paper for Christmas paper. I love Debbie Mumm anyways so it was just doubley fun to make this set because of the paper...it just makes you happy !!! hahaha

Anyways I hope you notice the little jingle bells on both the album and the tin, I thought I would throw in a bit of fun ! Inside the tin are 30 gift tags! So it was a big project, but it was totally fun all the way through! Thanks again Melinda, I hope you enjoy it and its exactly what you wanted!

Fingers Crossed!

Here are the cards I submitted for the design team position with clear dollar stamps! Wish me luck!I will let you know if i get it or not. It never hurts to try!

Top Ten....Albums for tomorrows listing!

I received some library cards and pockets from a good customer/friend of mine last week, (thanks melinda!!) So i had to come up with someway to use them, well they were to big for my albums so i had to make them "my size"! And these 2 albums are what i came up with! One is 10 things I love about you, toghter we have it all! Each page is for a pic and there are tags for every pic to journal on! The other is a My top ten moments...again a page for each moment and a tag for each to journal on! So fun.

Well im still working on my special orders and they keep coming in! So im a bit frazzled but using it! I am also going to try out for a design team, for a stamp company, so cross your fingers. If i dont get it, it will be a bit dissapointing BUT i am new to card making so then it just gives me more time to practice and ready to try again in 3 months when they will do it all again!

I will probably be posting again tomorrow night and will be showing the second half of Melinda's special order. It will be a Christmas tin and album set! The paper is so fab, its Mary Englebreit, one of my favorite artists! So it was a blast working with the paper. So tune in tomorrow!!

Here are the 3 albums I have made up for Melinda for her special order. We have the same taste in paper so it was easy to work with Melinda and the albums were fun to do! So now I have a box all ready to mail off to Melinda with 4 albums as she purchased the Just because album as well, that was featured on my blog earlier. Now I will start on Part 2 of her order, a Christmas tin/album !! Stay tuned for that! I will list that when im done right here on the blog! Thanks Melinda!!!!

Special Order Cards

Here are a few cards I have made and sold to a customer. (thanks melinda!!) I love the colors in all of these and was fun messing with my new stamps! I think I am going to make me a set of the top card to have around. I used liquid pearl type paint to make the dots on the dragonfly. The lower purple set i used purple ink and then added micro glitters to it..really cute. I will get the hang of this, one way or another. Will be showing the rest of the special order soon, have one more album on this order to get done and will show all 3 at once!

Special Order , Off to France!

I had another special order come in from my dear friend Holly, who lives in France! Thank Holly!!! She wanted me to make a BIGGER album then i usually make! So I went to the grocery store to ask them if I could have or buy a couple of there bags, but they only had the gigantic ones, so then off to the hardware store! They had some! So I begged off a few bags from them , offering to pay for them but they wouldnt have it! So I was set! I love this paper in this really quality paper and nice color combos! The front has Joyeux Anniversaire, meaning Happy Birthday! Holly wanted a place on the front to put a special picture of her neice, who will be turning 20~! So that is what the space if for on the front. I also did a little different treatment with the ribbon, and i really like it! More like a book! Lots of room for pictures and journaling. I still like making my smaller 5x5 albums, (this is a 6x7) better as its more economical for paper!

I have a load of special orders to get done, so will get off and get movin on them!

Well since i was making recipe albums for a special order, I decided to go ahead and make another recipe album in tandom with the other cherry album for listing on sunday! I had fun making this album as the cherry paper just makes me happy! I love it and decided to go with a fun and cute album. I did alot of "punching" with this album and I think my family was glad when I was done with my little hammer and punch set! ha EnJOY!

Special Orders!

Well things are picking up! I have a bunch of special orders coming in and I sold all my cards as well! So need to make more of those! So I will be busy in the next few weeks filling my orders! So keep checking in to see what i have been making!!

Here are 2 special order recipe albums! I love all this cherry paper, So so cute, and it was fun to make up this album with! Going to have to get some more of this and make and album and tin set!

I also made the recipes album with the rusts, and blue and oranges..it is a fun album and lots of recipe cards! I hope they enjoy the albums!
