Something New.....Accordian Album

Its been a while since I have done  project for the fun of it.  My friend Melinda sent me this paper pack from Bo Bunny called Weekend Market. She had also sent me these accorian albums and I decided to give them a try and see what I could up come up with.
I use one of the 'tags' for the title of the album as Live life Beautifully......Be you.  After going through the soul restoration classes, these kind of things really pull at me to make. Things that help us to dig into our hearts and minds and to really think. Its important that we are always kind to others and to ourselves, to love and support those around us. Be brave and dream, imagine, believe, and succeed.

There are 12 pages, front and back. There are 6 places for picture placements. There are 5 tags. Lots of sparkle, flowers and butterflies. The chipboard butterflies i used my Martha Stewart glitter to coordinate with the papers and add some bling to the pages. I used the Petaloo velvet flowers that have their own little sparkle and a pearl. I stickled around the picture placements to make them pop.
I hope that this will sell! Thanks for stopping by!!

Wedding Shower Card...

My oldest son is getting married in June. On Wednesday is a bridal shower for his future wife, so i made her this card to go with her gift! I used the Teddybo image that was already colored...but i did go over the pink with a purple promarker, since her colors are turquoise and purple. So now it matches!
The paper in the background is one of my all time favorites from MME, lost and found line. So i have been hording it and using it sparingly! The colors were a bit muted so i did go over the dots with a turqoise promarker and blender pen to make it pop more and match her colors more. Lots of sparkle with the glitter on that paper and then i added glitter to the image edge to bring it all together. I made the image 3D to make it pop and add some demention and fun! I think it turned out pretty cute!

TeddyBo Tuesday Challenge....BUTTONS!

Today is Teddybo Tueday and for our challenge we were to use buttons! I decided to make a pin cushion tin! I had some material in my stash, and went out into the garage and hacked a piece of styrofoam off some packing in a box and cut it into a rounded edged circle to hot glue to the top of the tin lid. i then added the material to the top and hot glued it onto the lid. The tin then had to be manipulated (big words i know!) to bend it in in order for the lid to fit again. The lid will not come off.....which is what i wanted! ;) I then mod podged the paper on to the tin, and hot glued the old lace around the tin. I made this bow and hot glued it on as well. I had this cute flower lace, that i aged with coffee and mod podged them to the tin. Adding the cute buttons to the centers for a pop of color! I made the tag by cutting a manilla envelope shorter and then colored this adorable teddybo image with promarkers to go on it.  I then tied the tag to the lace bow. I added these pretty hat pins to the bow for some fun and then my son and I messed around with the pins and buttons on the top! I think they are cute and fun! now i can just put all my pins on top and have easy access to them. Did i mention that it matches my craft room perfectly????
Thanks for stopping by!
